Cocoa with a pinch of sea salt

There is little that oozes more cosiness and «hygge» than a delicious cup of hot cocoa. Did you know that chocolate and sea salt go hand in hand? If you add a small pinch of sea salt to the hot chocolate, you create an addictive taste, which is guaranteed to make you want to drink at least two cups.

Ingredients

  • 100 g of dark chocolate, 60 - 70%
  • 7 - 10 dl whole milk
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • 5 tablespoons of brown sugar

Toppings:

  • Whipped cream
  • Grated chocolate

How to make hot chocolate

  1. Chop the chocolate into small pieces and place it in a saucepan with approx. 1/4 of the milk.
  2. Heat to medium temperature without boiling, stirring constantly.
  3. Add the rest of the milk, and heat just beneath the boiling point. The chocolate should not boil.
  4. Feel free to add more salt and sugar, and if you like - some chili and cinnamon. Top with whipped cream and marshmallows.

Take your cup with you, lean back in your armchair, and enjoy a delicious cup of cocoa.
