⚠️ Information & instructions Jøtul F 200/F205 heat shield solutions and mounting.

In connection with the installation of Jøtul F 200 and F 205 against combustible walls, it has previously been communicated that the installation instructions contained incorrect clearance requirements.

There is no danger or fire risk associated with this, but if the stove is placed closer than 200 mm from a combustible wall behind it or 200 mm (F 200) / 225 mm (F 205) from a corner, the wall must be protected by an additional heat shield. These must be retrofitted to existing stoves to reduce the temperature of the rear wall and comply with approved installation requirements.

👉NOTE:
✅ Installations on non-combustible walls or external firewalls are not affected.

✅New production models, JØTUL F 200 V2 / JØTUL F 205 V2, have updated heat shields and new distances for installation against combustible walls.

✅ Jøtul will cover the new heat shield and delivery.
